Where?

This year's DJCS (Dorset Japanese Car Show) will be held at the Canford Park Arena, near Wimborne.

The Arena is central to the Bournemouth and Poole area and provides easy parking on and off site with plenty of hotels in the local area for those travelling long distances. Click here to view map.

When?

DJCS wil be held on Sunday 2nd August 2009. DJCS will be open to public from 10am til 5pm, there will be plenty of activities and entertainment for everyone to fill the day.

From giant inflateable bouncy castles and fair ground rides to car club shows and displays, the Dorset Japanese Car Show has something for everyone.

Who will be there?

The Event is open to all ages, young and old. We have already arranged for a large selection of quality traders including magazines, retailers and stores with trade stands for you to browse all day long.

Tickets will be available on the gate priced at just £9.00 per person.

Whats on at DJCS?

Dorset Japanese Car Show (DJCS) is a brand new event that is being organised by the Dorset Japanese Car Club.

 

The Site:

DJCS will be held at Canford Park Arena, a unique purpose built Arena complex in the heart of Dorset with excellent road access offering the perfect venue for the event.

  

 

The Clubs:

The event will feature displays from a huge variety of car clubs spanning all genres of Japanese cars from the last 30+ years from all of the Japanese car manufacturers including: Datsun, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota & Isuzu.

The Fun!

There will be activities and entertainment for all ages to fill the day from giant inflatable bouncy castles to exciting fairground rides and even face painting!

  

 

Power Runs with Re:Worx!

Ever wondered how powerful your car is? You will have the opportunity to have your car tested on the Re:Worx Rolling Road. For a small fee your car will be tested and you will receive a print out with full results showing brake horse power, torque etc.
 

 

Competitions:

The event will feature a 'Show and Shine' competition sponsored by Autoglym & Gem Grafix with lots of trophy's and prizes for the following categories:

  • Best pre 1990 manufactured car

  • Best 1990 to 1995 manufactured car

  • Best 1996 to 2000 manufactured car

  • Best 2000 and newer manufactured car

  • Car of the show

  • Bike of the show

Professional Stage:

Throughout the day there will be six fantastic live acts performing on stage spanning many different musical styles with something for everyone's taste!

  

  

  

 

Arena Action:

The Dorset Fire & Rescue Service will be staging simulated accident rescue demonstrations.

 

Traders:

There will be a huge selection of trade stands and stalls where you are sure to grab a bargain or get some top advice.

With a large selection of food and drink vendors and a licensed bar you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to eating and drinking!
